What I learned this week

A short and sweet post this week because I am out with my parents in an hour blueberry picking for the first time in over 10 years.

What did I learn this week:

  • Hot hot weather is much more tiring when you experience it at home than when abroad on holiday
  • My nose sunburns faster than any other part of my face
  • The fluffers stay indoors when it is too hot outside
  • It is tiring just to paint a back gate when it is nearly 30 degrees centigrade outside, over 10 degrees hotter than any other day experienced last summer
  • A British man may well have won Wimbledon but I really couldn't give a hoot
  • You can worry about how far you will be from a bathroom before you go out blueberry picking
  • You realise you probably aren't going to be able to drink as much fluids as you normally do when preparing for a day spent with the parents going back in time to one of your favourite childhood past times.
So what have you learned this week?

To join in on the What I Learned This Week carnival, simply follow these steps:

1. Any time this week, publish your What I Learned This Week post on your blog and comment on my blog hyper linking to your blog.

2. Then go and visit Julie’s blog at From Inmates to Playdates, find her latest “What I learned this week” and link up with the Mr. Linky form at the bottom of the post. Please put the link to your POST, not the front page of your blog.

3. Then visit the other participants and see what they learned this week.
